Weehawken High School rehearses for performance of Anything Goes

Saturday, March 29, 2014 -
Cast members braid each others hair before the start of
a Weehawken High School drama rehearsal for their upcoming
performance of Anything Goes.
The performance is run in partnership with Inside Broadway,
and there will be two shows on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5.

performed live
on Fox 5's on “Good Day New York”!

won first place at the US
Bands “Group 1A”
National Championships
in Allentown, Pennsylvania
on November 9th.
This is the first time in Weehawken’s history
that the Marching Band
placed 1st
and won the “Group 1A” division title
at the
national competition, which featured bands
from all over the United States!

NJ Monthly ranked New Jersey's top high schools,
and Weehawken is in the top 100 (#91)
of all state public schools for 2012.
Among schools with similar demographics,
WHS came in at #5.
In addition.....
US News ranked the nation's best high schools,
and Weehawken High School is ranked in the top 5%
of high schools in the U.S.
W.H.S. also ranked 32nd for regular
neighborhood high schools in New Jersey.
Those results are based on college-readiness performance
and the ability to help all students
reach their
maximum potential.

The Weehawken Free Public Library is offering discounted tickets to the American Museum of Natural History.
Each ticket will cost $6 and allows free general admission and one free special exhibition, live animal exhibition or film of the purchaser's choice.
The American Museum of Natural History is located at Central Park West
and 79th Street in New York City. It is one of the largest and
most celebrated
museums in the world!
To purchase discounted tickets you must be a resident of Weehawken.
